- Is VCS accredited?

Students can enroll anytime throughout the year. We offer the flexibility of open enrollment. - How long to I have to complete my courses?
VCS suggests that parents and students allow 45-60 minutes per subject per day, for 180 school days to complete the program study. At this rate, a school year typically lasts 180 days or about ten months. Students have up to one calendar year (12 months) to complete coursework. - Can I talk to a teacher if I need guidance?
Teachers will answer academic questions within the application using the message system, class blog, email, and discussion board. - Do you offer a high school diploma, official transcripts, and graduation ceremony? Yes. Upon successful completion of college preparatory course of study, a high school diploma is issued to full-time students. Transcripts are issued upon graduation or transfer. They are sent to colleges or other schools upon request. The optional graduation ceremony is an exciting opportunity for graduating seniors and their families. In order to participate in graduation the student must be enrolled no later than March of the graduating year and must meet graduating requirements.
- Will your program prepare my student for college?
Yes. Online VCS offers college preparatory courses which will prepare students for entrance into most universities and colleges. The school also provides a school code for taking SAT or ACT college entrance exams. - What is the role of the parent?
Parental involvement is essential to student success. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in their student's education by daily supervising of their work and reviewing progress.
